"True Friends Leave Footprints on Your Heart"
Vin and I are lucky enough to have many good friends in our life. We are also lucky to have mutual friends that are also a couple. Shelli and Matt are always there for us, no matter what the occasion or milestone is in our life. They remember every birthday, interview, and have been there every step of the way with our home search. They have huge hearts and are genuinely awesome people! The day I told Shell that I was pregnant, I literally said "Guess What" and she said "You're pregnant". She couldn't be happier for me and Vin and I can't wait to share our bundle of joy with their Auntie Shelli and Uncle Matt.
After months of not seeing Shelli and Matt, we finally got together for lunch. Like every get together, there was not a dull moment. Shell and Matt also surprised Vin and I with a congratulatory gift for expecting our first baby. As soon as Shell found out I was pregnant, she began talking with my mom about the perfect baby bag that I would like. She surprised me with none other then a Kate Spade baby bag adorned with a bow! Words cannot express how excited I was, but how much I appreciated this gift and how thoughtful it was. Of course, they did not leave Vin out and they got him a pack of beer and a book "The Survival Guide to Fatherhood" (a must-have read for all expectant fathers-to-be). From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for always being there for us, thank you for always listening and thank you for all of your support. We are truly lucky to have you as friends.

Love at First Sight
We received our first baby frame from my brother-in-law, Ed and his girlfriend Chelsie. It was such a sentimental and thoughtful gift. I didn't have the chance to get a frame or book for all of our ultrasound pictures, so I was so happy when I unwrapped this gift. The heartfelt wishes, love and support that our family and friends have given us is beyond words. We are truly so blessed!

Special Delivery
When I arrived home after work one day, I received a special delivery in the mail. Kristin, our cousin, sent us a package of three onesies. Once again, our family and friends touched our hearts by being so thoughtful. I have been so overwhelmed lately by how thoughtful everyone has been when finding out that we are pregnant with our first baby. Kristin owns an adorable shop called Sweet Dahlia Designs.

Grandma's trip to the doctor!
As soon as both grandmothers heard the news, it was only fitting that they got to meet the new price or princess. I don't think I have seen this smile or light in their eyes before.
Vin couldn't make it to this particular doctors appointment, so it was perfect that they were able to join me.
The ultrasound went wonderfully and something unexpected happened. Through conversation with the ultrasound technician, a question was asked and the gender was revealed. Yes, the grandparents found out before daddy! Ultimately, they were sworn to secrecy that they wouldn't tell anyone until the gender reveal. I think it was very special for them and something they will always remember.
On the car ride home, I immediately told Vin what we were having. I received the typical response, he was glad I was healthy and he was happy with either boy or girl because he would love them just the same, what a guy!
Seeing as how this is only 13 weeks, we will be waiting until week 19 to share with everyone else. Stay tuned!

Announcing Baby Piscitelli
After further adieu, we decided to announce our pregnancy on Facebook. We couldn't just post a picture or write an update, we created a video to commemorate this special event. Just like our engagement and wedding, we had to announce in a symbolic way. With mommies creative vision and daddies technological skills... Here is our reveal...
