"First" Mother's Day

My husband and I secretly celebrated my first Mother's Day as the only other person that knew of the pregnancy was my mom. While I went out to lunch with my mom in celebration of her Mother's Day, my husband went out shopping. When we arrived back home, he presented me with a small blue box. He was unbelievably excited and told me that he wanted to commemorate my first Mother's Day with this gift. He surprised me with a band, otherwise known as my "push gift". That husband of mine is so romantic and has a huge heart. This was so much more then just a ring, it was the start of a new chapter of our lives together. Every time I look down at my hand, I will remember this moment and how special I felt.
